![]() It would make a fishtank air pump type humming/scratching sound. Liquid Cooling pump - can be loud, but definitely won't sound like a fan. Video Card Fan(s) - should automatically control their speed based on load and shouldn't be loud during idle PSU Fan - usually not controllable but also usually not loud this fan should normally be plugged into the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard for proper speed control. ![]() ![]() Possible candidate for the loud fan, can spin upwards of 1500-1800 rpm which will be noticeable. Same as the front case fan, 1000 rpm so not super loud. There are a total of around 6-7 fans in this system, and you may need to pinpoint which one is causing the soundįront fan (black) - likely plugged straight to power supply, but its only a 1000 rpm fan so even at full blast it shouldn't be that loud
